Instructors are expected to keep the chapter informed of any changes to their contact information. The chapter needs the information to keep the instructor informed about changes to courses and upcoming events. It is also recommended that instructors keep a copy of any course records, updates, bridging or other information they turn into the chapter office. It is sometimes necessary to resubmit this information if paperwork is lost or misplaced.

The chapter will keep the instructor informed about any upcoming changes to courses or other pertinent information. Most instructor updates are available on line as well as through group orientation. The chapter holds yearly meetings in January of each year. Instructors are expected to attend. Instructors will receive information about any changes in the chapter and also information about any upcoming course changes or upgrades to courses and materials.

We are all one Red Cross. Instructors are expected to represent the American Red cross in a professional manner. They are expected to provide training according to the instructors’ manual for the course. Training needs to be consistent and uniform across the country. Instructors may also be asked to provide information about local Red Cross events and services.
