The chapter maintains a limited supply of materials at the chapter office. Refer to the Order/Invoice Form for a list of materials. Not all materials are listed on the Order Form. Call if you have any questions about materials available to purchase or to rent. Items should be requested at least two weeks in advance. If we don’t have the materials on hand, we may need to order them. Refer to the Instructor’s Manual for the course for a list of materials required for each course. Course materials may also be purchased through www.ShopStayWell.com and shipped directly to your location. The chapter training room is also available to rental for class, meeting or other events. Call early to request the space as community classes have first priority.

The chapter maintains two types of manikins:
“Little Anne” which has a disposable lung and a removable face. It is generally used for any classes that will be using an AED. The lungs are disposable and need to be removed and thrown away. The faces need to be decontaminated by soaking them in a bleach and water solution. Instructors who check out the Little Anne manikins need to dispose of the lungs before returning them to the chapter office. The faces should be removed and placed in a plastic bag. They will be washed and decontaminated at the chapter office. The manikins should be wiped down as needed. They can be cleaned with soap and water.
“Basic Buddy” manikins have a red chest. The lungs are disposable and inserted into the manikin using a plastic tool. The Basic Buddy baby’s chest is removable. The Basic Buddy Adult chest should not be removed. To clean the Basic Buddy manikins remove the disposable lungs and throw them away. Wipe the manikin faces down as needed using a soap and water solution or alcohol wipes.
